T.J. McCormack |
|

|
After a 20 year career as a stand up comedian and
actor, T.J. McCormack is ready to be heard around the world on his
new LA Talk Radio program, The World of T.J. McCormack.
T.J. grew up in White Plains, New York, a suburb of New York City.
His heroes were Steve Martin, Laurel and Hardy, George Carlin and
Woody Allen. A student of comedy, he started performing while still
in high school. After a few years learning the art and science of
comedy, T.J. was on the road playing nightclubs and universities
throughout the USA, performing in each of the lower 48 states.
After nearly 10 years, T.J. found himself aboard cruise ships,
where he met the best damn little British dancer in the world, his
future wife, Andrea.
In 1999, they moved to Los Angeles where Andrea had signed with
an all-girl pop group I*5. While she was on tour with the likes
of Britney Spears and Nsync, T.J. was performing and acting on television
and in films while playing in Las Vegas with The Beach Boys, Celine
Dion and many others.
T.J. has also been a featured performer at the Montreal Comedy
Festival, was the host of Woodstock ’99 and has appeared on several
television shows as both an actor and a comedian.
Talk Radio has always been a passion for T.J., and this new show on
LA Talk Radio is a natural progression as he looks to further explore
comedy on a larger scale, while observing life through the eyes of
a worldwide audience.

T.J. is joined once again by the very entertaining and intellectual giant Regan Wynne. Also in studio is the youthful enthusiasm of Matt Karam. This show is a little bit of everything, and a bit of a palate-cleanser after yesterday's carnival-like show. This is a straight-forward good episode of a really good talk show. |

Contributing as always is New York Bureau Chief Jay Pegram calling in from the Bunker of Information in Harlem |
|
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 |
T.J. provides a post-mortem on the Presidential election. This show is just what you'd expect the day after Barack Obama has been elected. True to form, though T.J. and co-host Regan Wynne keep it very light and very entertaining. |

|
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 |
Today's show opens with T.J. discussing Proposition 8 (Gay Marriage in CA) with an old friend of the family who is a proud gay man in a committed relationship. This is a prime example of how T.J.

|
Tuesday, October 28, 2008 |
Regan Wynne is back again to lend his opinion and vast knowledge of everything from literature to politics to the human condition. Calling in is Dave from Montana. Also, T.J. tries to convince Regan to sing a little tune. This is a great show. |

Later, T.J. is joined in studio by Regan Wynne and Listener Tim the Sailor as they discuss life and politics with New York Bureau Chief Jay Pegram on the phone. Also calling in is LA Talk Radio host Keith Barany, host of The Zen Cynic Thursdays from 7-9 PM PT. |
|
| |

At the top of the show, you get a glimpse of T.J.'s dark side. While getting into a character, someone walks in the studio and throws him off. What follows is a rant you'd expect from a diva like Madonna. The show then goes off into many silly directions with callers "Dennis the Self-Hating Negro", and a woman in search of a case of Werther's Originals. A weird and mighty entertaining show for sure! |

All Sarah Palin, all the time. Plus some disgruntled crank callers. |
|
Wednesday, September 3, 2008 |

Listen and find out why. |
|
| |
Tuesday, August 19, 2008 |
This is the last show before T.J. heads for a vacation back East, so who better to wrap up the summer than the Infamous Lady T, Timeka Drew? This time Timeka gets on T.J.'s nerves because they're AGREEING too much! Still, even with all the warm and fuzzies, this is yet another great show with Timeka riding shotgun. |
|
Monday, August 18, 2008 |
.J. is joined in the second hour by author and over-population expert Frosty Wooldridge. The conversation cover many disturbing scenarios for the USA if we don't get a grip on our population via immigration, legal and illegal. This is a fascinating interview with a very in-demand guest. |

Tuesday, August 12, 2008 |
A fantastic show which gets off to a flying start with T.J. skewering John Edwards for being the phony vile liar he is, and always has been. This sets T.J. off on a variety of hot-button topics.
Another great show with T.J. |
|
Monday, August 11, 2008 |
T.J. opens the show with a very real and VERY FUNNY insight into the tragedy that is his psyche. His wife told him a story which included the "C" word (not what you're thinking) and that set off a very stressful weekend for him. He didn't recover till Monday morning. You just have to listen to this show. |
|
| |
Friday, August 8, 2008 |
T.J. is devoted to the defeat of mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. The mainstream media has no desire to give those running against him any respect. T.J. wants to provide a forum for these candidates. Today's entire show is dedicated to interviewing L.A.
mayoral candidate Bruce Darian. An interesting show to say the very least. |
|
Thursday, August 7, 2008 |
Timeka Drew is back, and the show has never been better.
As always a must-listen! So YOU MUST LISTEN!!! |
|
Wednesday, August 6, 2008 |

|
Tuesday, August 5, 2008 |
|
|
Monday, August 4, 2008 |
Yet another hysterical, and awesome monologue from T.J., including a long diatribe about the absentee term in city hall of Villaraigosa. Johnny Dam calls in trying to trip T.J. up...to no avail.
T.J. is sick and tired of this mayor and city council and he let's you know it today. |
|
| |
Friday, August 1, 2008 |
T.J. opens by blessing us with his karaoke singing skills channeling the still-living Jerry lee Lewis. Then he goes on about how too many sunny days can eff with your head. Mo from Oregon calls in and gets the ball rolling on politics, which leads T.J. to talking about how L.A.'s leadership is so negligent in their priorities. A great show about life in Los Angeles. |
|
Wednesday, July 30, 2008 |
T.J. begins with a lovely rant about the ridiculous statements by Rep James Clybourn (D) GA about race and global warming! That is followed by a rant about L.A. Mayor No-Show's silly do-nothing plans to fight gang violence. This show is interspersed with T.J. breaking into song whenever he damn well pleases! |
|
Tuesday, July 29, 2008 |
THE DAY THE EARTH SHOOK!!! 18 minutes before air, a
5.4 earthquake shook the entire L.A. basin and beyond. T.J. is joined by newest LATalkRadio host Geremy Dingle who happened to be in the studio that day. This is one very entertaining show. Between the earthquake, and all the calls relating to it (including T.J.'s mom in New York) there was no time for any politics. It takes the earth quaking to get T.J. to stop ranting about illegal immigrants, huh? This is a great show. |
|
Monday, July 28, 2008 |
The show opens with a monologue about a fundraiser T.J. was blessed to be a part of this past weekend. Then T.J. thanks the listeners for making him the #1 most downloaded show on LATalkRadio.com. He goes on to a classic rant about San Francisco's status as a "Sanctuary City" for illegal aliens, even if they are convicted felons! |
|
| |
Thursday, July 24, 2008 |
The guest is TIMEKA DREW aka THE INFAMOUS LADY T. The host is the lovely and cuddly T.J. McCormack...The show is one of the best ever, since launching this station.
From the moment T.J. welcomes Timeka to the show, the program accelerates rapidly as does the tension. Listen as these two opinionated adversaries butt heads in a 1.5 hour debate full of passion and energy, all done with respect. Nearly every hot-button topic is covered in rapid succession: Illegal immigration, terrorism, America's role in the world, police brutality, racial profiling, politics and religion and many more!
Listen to this show, and hear why T.J. has made Timeka a regular guest.
This is The World of T.J. McCormack at its most riveting. |
|
Tuesday, July 22, 2008 |
This show is as free-form as it gets...T.J. starts off by railing against so-called "community activists" in L.A. who are loudly and obnoxiously asking why a guy was shot in the 'hood...AN ARMED GUY WHO POINTED HIS GUN AT THE COPS!!!!!!!!!!!! The media is also in T.J.'s crosshairs for the emotional and biased reporting of the incident. The show then turns to the lighter side with more looks at headlines from around the country, some really funny karaoke, a great call from MO FROM OREGON and more amazing karaoke from your host...It's T.J.'s world and you get to listen to it! |
|
Monday, July 21, 2008 |
T.J. starts off in familiar personal territory, talking about human fears and emotions and how we can either let them hold us back, or conquer them to move forward. It's a fascinating subject which T.J. handles with his trademark manic humor. The show moves on to cover more than a few topics, including L.A. City Council's embarrassing ideas to battle gangs (or not). MO FROM OREGON chimes in to wind out the show, and T.J. has some fun. |
|
| |
Friday, July 18, 2008 |
After a late start, MO FROM OREGON sets a personal record for calling in early in the show. T.J. then puts an unwitting MO through a series goofs which are priceless listening. |
|
Thursday, July 17, 2008 |
Today T.J.'s guest is the very unique TIMEKA DREW aka the INFAMOUS LADY T. Timeka is an outspoken lady with myriad opinions which run the gamut from extreme liberal, to downright conservative. The interview seems to touch upon nearly all these topics, and when the conversation turns to illegal immigration things take off as you might well imagine.
After this appearance, T.J. has asked TIMEKA DREW to be a regular guest. Check out next Thursday's (8/24) show. |
|
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 |
The show begins with T.J. "bumping into" LaTalkRadio's Erika Morrell in a Skype mishap which turns into a fascinating 45 minute interview about relationships, spirituality, love and life. Later T.J. talks about earthquake preparedness, and whether he ought to get a gun or a growling dog sound effect to keep burglars away.
|
|
Tuesday, July 15, 2008 |

|
Tuesday, July 8, 2008 |
T.J. is joined by his favorite co-host, his lovely wife ANDI! This show consists of the following in no particular order: politics, calls from British girls in England, singing Karaoke, and making fun of funerals in the U.K. This is one very random, and very entertaining installment of The World of T.J. McCormack. |

Next Johnny Dam sits in for a while to continue the discussion about crime and illegal immigration and a lack of assimilation in L.A. T.J. winds out the show with a bunch more social commentary. This is a very well-rounded show, loaded with passionate opinions. |
|
Wednesday, June 25, 2008 |
After playing a song from artist of the day Ella G'sell , T.J. takes on the Supreme Court ruling on capital punishment. |
Tuesday, June 24, 2008 |
The show starts off with one of T.J.'s best rants. This one deals with an L.A. commissioner who is caught over-watering his estate in Beverly Hills while he has been preaching conservation to the masses. Then T.J.
says it's about time we simply vote out ALL incumbents over the next few elections, this way we can send a message, and get new blood in our representative government. This is a great show...classic T.J. |
|
Monday, June 23, 2008 |

|
Wednesday, June 18, 2008 |
T.J. is joined by his co-host for the day, actor and producer Reagan Wynne. The show opens with some interesting political chat during which frequent caller Mo from Oregon chimes in with some far out 9-11 conspiracy theories. Later, new listener Bill from Coeur de Lane, Idaho checks in with some really detailed conspiracy stuff that makes Mo's theories pale in comparison. The show then takes a real fun turn, as they talk show business, and Reagan explains acting, and how to take direction. |
|
Tuesday, June 17, 2008 |
T.J. opens the show with brief look at a very slow news day. The highlight this show is a look at a ridiculous lawsuit being filed against Victoria's Secret. Wifey makes an appearance as well! |

T.J. opens with a signature rant about being being misquoted. He HATES when people put words in his mouth or ideas in his head.
