Today’s show was a great conversation between women who give a darn. These woman spoke out against atrocities slithering behind a sophisticated picture of wellness in government and law enforcement. The dialog was between women who have experienced the murder of their babies and women who work on the frontlines speaking out for justice and out of this conversation comes the real truth. Shirley’s guests were Geri Silva, executive director of FACTS (Families Amend California Three Strikes), Jackie Collins President of FACTS and Laurietta King, mother of a murdered son. The prison system is failing, but in comes the humanitarians who are burning to effect change and to finally focus on the children of incarcerated parents, Huge mistakes have been made and are still being made with how we take care of the children in these situations. The children are the voiceless victims in this system of crime and punishment. The Guests who brought light to these dark chambers were Dawn Davison, the former Warden at California Institute for Women in Corona, a big believer in programming to help restore family relationships for incarcerated women and Sharon Content, the founder and Executive Director of Children of Promise in Brooklyn, NY, nonprofit that serves children all throughout the Bedford Stuyesant section of Brooklyn. These two women together were a storehouse of valuable information that absolutely inspired the listeners. A beautiful and Inspiring Show.

The Airwaves are how we get the word out that change has come. Today's show was confirmation that we are on the right track. Miguel Bravo, graffiti artist, T-shirt designer and event promoter was Shirley and Luis's guest and the message was soothing to the soul as the conversation took everyone on a joy ride. We talked about the arts, music, and Spirit. It's evident that the time for earthiness to take over our world again has come and when you listen to the show, you will agree that it has already begun.

How marvelous it is to hear the truth. It has a way of resonating with the soul. The show today was that kind of show; it was a soulful show of truth and redemption. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Mr. Henry Bratton, who loved us so much that he would come to share his life with us. The listeners have the opportunity to walk with Henry through his journey from childhood through 36 years of prison to his manhood of integrity today. Today's show was again spectacular. Our guest, Ken Canfield, author of several books on fatherhood and a philanthropist sold out to reactivate fatherhood back into the lives of every child. The man shared his life's work with our listeners and we are so pleased that we could be the portal to send his work out to be heard so that we may receive the wisdom of the ages. We adults have a lifetime of history that shows us as the people who take care of the youth, the youth do not take care of themselves. Ken helped us to see that when we all partake of this responsibility we become a healthy community of people. The call was sent out to the fathers, but a wake up call for every adult.
Wonderful show and we're hoping for a part 2.
Thank you Ken, thank you listeners for tuning in to the show.To reach Ken email him at: Ken.R.Canfield@pepperdine.edu Shirley at: shirleywilson@myheavensgate.com

Today's show was amazing! It further inspires the producer to put a microphone to all voices of workers who are out on the battle lines healing our community. The average person points an accusing finger at all people who have been sentenced to life in our nation's prisons. This is understandable, but there is another group within that group and those people have repented completely of their wrongful acts and are fully accountable for their deeds and want to give back to their communities to bring about healing.
Today Aleem Tolliver was our guest and what a guest he was. After spending 27 years in America's prisons, this man has journeyed through some dark passages to get to the light and has made himself a beacon for young people headed in the direction of the hell from which he has just been delivered. A Liberated Lifer is this man. Hear what he has to say by listening to the archived show and see if you don't agree that this was a show to remember.

The show was spectacular today with Harmon and Wilson bringing the good news of Restorative Justice to the microphone. The duo's guests were Detective Tracy McClanahan from the LAPD HAS program, a 20 year veteran of LAPD and Herb Blake, author and re-entry advocate.
Detective McClanahan works through HAS, a program that started in December, 2009, with the LA Conservation Corp to help parolees get job preparation training. Detective McClanahan is also an ordained minister and now integrates spirituality into her work and discusses this phenomenon for the listeners
Mr Blake shared with the listeners what Centering Prayer meant to him when he was still incarcerated; he believes shedding the layers/allows God to speak to us, encouraging the listeners to start attempting meditation for even just a few minutes because God can speak to us through meditation. Herb also talks about his new book, The Last Place I looked.
If you'd like to to contact the guests, please send an email to Wilson at: www.shirleywilson@myheavensgate.com and/or Harmon at" info@unitybridges.org

Tonight's show on Heart to Heart was phenomenal; I am so grateful to be even a small part of our guest Georgette sharing her story. What humility and courage she possesses. A woman who could have been bitter and no one would have been able to pass blame if she had been. Instead her life's work is to help women who may be enduring even a small portion of what she has suffered. Her struggle was not in vain.
We sincerely and humbly thank Georgette Breland, Cross Over Assistant for Restorative Justice, for appearing on ths show and sharing such valuable information. You can reach Georgette Breland at: gigibroncogirl@yahoo.com or Maria Palma at: mariacpalmer@yahoo.com or Shirley Wilson at shirleywilson@myheavensgate.com |

It was a remarkable show as Shirley Wilson and Luis Rodriguez searched for the truth in our education system Exploring how many youth would likely journey toward crime and gangland activity if they but had inspiration from mentors and programs in the schools that inspire young people to focus on their artistic gift. Joining La Neta/ The Truth was school psychologist, Patricia Don, who works closely with troubled children in the school system; a very important show. You may reach Patricia Don at: pdon@lausc.net or Luis Rodriguez at lrodrig555@aol.com or Shirley Wilson at: shirleywilson@myheavensgate.com
