When it comes to healing our at risk youth, who better to do this than youth who have overcome obstacles that still stand in the way other teenagers and young adults. On the show today was Myra and Brian who are the co-founders of a wonderful youth organization called, "The Young Warriors". This organization is for the children, by the children. Today Julie and Shirley brought "In Search of Restorative Justice" to the listeners by bringing real life ex-lifers to the platform to speak out on the lack of balance on the scales of justice. Two men who have both spent over 20 to 30 years of their lives incarcerated for committing a violent crime, The show was heartbreaking, inspiring and convicting all in the same heartbeat. Also on the show was William Rollins, a law intern with USC Post-Conviction Justice Project who shared some real facts about this crisis in America's culture.

Luis Rodriguez and Shirley Wilson talked about Luis's trip to London where he spoke to several agencies to assist with deterring the growth of gang activity. It was a bitter-sweet success for Luis and for the citizens of London as a 15 year old child had lost his life to gang violence. This tragedy brought out people in droves to get tips on what can be done...
Don't forget to get your tickets to "Fire & Soul" at the Ford Theater box office. This will be a dancing in the isles event, with picnic time before the show. Luis is co-host on The Scales of Justice" every 4th Sunday.
