Julia Grant

Julia Grant

Julia Grant is a fearless, fun and frank host who possesses the unique combination of intelligence, high energy, common sense, warmth, quick wit, charm and humor.

As a fun-loving native Texan, she easily combines energy and thought provocation in a very fun manner as she relates to her audience.  Easily seeing both sides of any issue, she is not afraid to casually “dance” across the edge into verbal uncharted territory, while standing strong in her beliefs.

Julia began her career as a stand-up comedian touring the country, as well as working in Hollywood.  No stranger to a varied line-up, she also has hosted numerous benefits for charity and entertained countless corporate executives during their annual meetings and conventions.  She has worked on various television shows producing, as well as warming up the audiences.  While most of her experience is performance-related, she also produced numerous television shows, including the Emmy-nominated, nationally syndicated daytime talk show “The Other Half” for NBC.

Because of her “never say die” attitude, relentless drive and amazing energy, her co-workers continue to affectionately dub her “The Hardest Working Woman in Show Business”.
Julia takes great pride in having never performed at Sea World (although she loves Orca…no, really.)

So far, it is estimated that Grant has entertained well over tens of thousands of people while logging hundreds of hours behind the microphone.  This extensive experience helped define her “crowd-pleasing” style as one of expertise in combining quick and smart ad-libbing, good-natured sarcasm and, most importantly, FUN!!!  Julia has worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Howie Mandel, Jeff Foxworthy, Roseanne, Phyllis Diller, Steve Allen, Cybill Shepherd, Lily Tomlin, Martin Short, Betty White, Harry Anderson, Dick Clark, Delta Burke, John Ritter, Billy Crystal, Chevy Chase, Whoopi Goldberg and others.

A Texas state-ranked tennis player, Grant has recently taken leave of her senses and started to enjoy the game of golf.  She spends her spare time reading, working out, eating Mexican food that Californians think is good and watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys…and not necessarily in that order!

Julia was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas (Yee-Haw!).  After attending Cambridge University in England and The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Television and Film Production.
