The Good Doc was joined by Mark Whicker of the Orange County Register to discuss the MLB playoffs and in particular the Angels-Red Sox series.  We also had Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune, who discussed the Al Davis firing of Lane Kiffin and the overall state of the Raiders. Rob Moseley of the Register Guard was kind enough to join us and discuss how the Oregon Ducks will attempt to duplicate the OSU Beavers in pulling an upset of USC.  And Maurice Patton of The Tennessean joined us to talk about the biggest college football game in the history of Nashville as Vandy hosts Auburn.

The Good Doctor discussed the historic Ryder Cup win, along with my chance to play Torrey Pines and Rancho Park within the span of a few days.

We also discussed the firing (finally) of Matt Millen, the desperation of the Rams, the stupidity of Plaxico Burress, the difficulty the NCAA has in policing itself, and the baseball races as they were coming down the stretch.  NFL and college football was also discussed.
