SUSAN SCHOFIELD

Susan Schofield began her radio career producing talk shows at KFI AM 640. From there, she joined Metro Networks to report traffic for various southern California media outlets including KFWB news radio and KNBC-TV channel 4. Her experience as an anchor is very broad-based, having written and reported news for the liberal leaning KPFK, the mostly moderate KABC and the completely conservative KRLA.

Kim Gruenenfelder brings to The XX Factor with Kim & Susan her unique perspective as a Hollywood insider and talk radio outsider. A screenwriter and author, Kim learned firsthand the trials of balancing work and family life in 2002 when she gave birth to a son. As a happily married working mother, she knows that life and current events should be viewed with a healthy sense of the absurd.

Her debut novel “A Total Waste of Makeup” features humorous advice for women and has been published in six languages to date. The sequel, “Misery Loves Cabernet,” is due on bookstore shelves in May 2009.
