Travis Lee Stephenson was born and raised in Houston, TX and
began playing guitar at the age of 15, inspired by his father. He played in a
variety of church ensembles as a teenager and formed his first rock trio
Standing Souls at 23. He then went on to play for blues/roots singer/
harmonica player Stevie Dupree, with which he co-wrote and recorded four
albums as well as toured the southern United States. They also won the
international Blues Challenge for the State of Texas in 2008. Travis moved
to Los Angeles in 2010 to attend the Musicians Institute where he received
the D’Addario scholarship for stylistically diverse guitarists. While at MI
Travis formed his current original project Electric Soul Parade. To date
ESP has released three full length albums, one live album, multiple singles,
and their cover of Johnny B Goode has 1.4 million views on YouTube.
Travis currently works as a backline/guitar tech in Los Angeles and has
worked with legends such as Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Seal, Ziggy
Marley, Isley Brothers, the O’Jays, and Zakk Wylde.
