Utsav Patel was born and raised in India, but now calls New Zealand his home. He studied Engineering as an adult, despite knowing since he was a child he would one day be an actor.
Once Utsav embarked on his acting journey in 2010, it ranged from community theatre and student projects to being a guest star on New Zealand’s soap opera,
“Shortland Street.”
Utsav took a leap in the advancement of his acting career by attending the Two-Year Conservatory
Program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where he has been working non-stop to make the absolute most of his time in Los Angeles.
Putting in an effort on all sides of the camera, in many roles: directing, writing, starring, background acting, singing, collaborating with actors and musicians from all over the world, and expanding his professional network every chance he gets-Utsav has a contagious ambition that propels him into a wide variety of learning experiences.
