A singer – songwriter from the North of Ireland, Colm McIntyre is a rising star of the Irish music scene.

In 2016 he received a Higher national diploma at Distinction level in music, from Belfast’s Metropolitan college where he was recognised and awarded for his song writing ability.

In 2017 he explored his love of reggae and ska releasing his first EP ‘The Vibe sessions’. The single ‘Let the music take control’ received global recognition and earned him a support slot with Brooklyn reggae outfit ‘The Slackers’.

2018 saw the release of his EP ‘Home’ The single ‘Home’ garnered support from all over the country and raised thousands in fundraising for homeless people in Ireland.

McIntyre released his debut album entitled ‘Redemption’ in 2019 and went on to support rock giants ‘The Answer’s’ frontman Cormac Neeson, on his Irish tour.

His song ‘Weak old town’ was playlisted heavily by Canada’s number 1 music critic ‘Tinnitist’ and featured in Brazil’s

‘Rock on’ magazine.

His second single ‘I’m your man’ caught the attention of Bruce Springsteen’s guitar ‘Nils Lofgren’ who congratulated Colm on a job well done.

In 2021, McIntyre was honoured as a recipient of the legendary ‘Van Morrison’s’ artist fund to help emerging artists create new music which he used to fund record his American Dream demo’s.

Recently Colm has been showing up in the USA, performing at iconic music venues such as the Bluebird Café Nashville, Asbury Park NJ, Chicago, NYC, Miami, LA and Hawaii after the release his new EP ‘American Dream’ in 2023.
