The Elias-Miller Project — EMP for short — is a southern funk-rock power duo based in Pasadena, CA. Wielding a combined 35 years of songwriting experience, dual frontmen Mike Miller and Mike Elias are reviving deep pockets, humble lyrics, and old-school grooves for the modern moment. Originally from Sacramento, Miller has released two albums, and graced stages from the Knitting Factory to the Bitter End, alongside Donovan Frankenreiter and others. Elias, a Jewish convert to Catholicism, was an Elvis impersonator as a teenager.
