Kerey Viswanathan is an award-winning director of web-series, shorts and music videos based in Connecticut and New York City.
A graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst Massachusetts, he has a B.A. in Filmmaking and Screenwriting. He has been mentored by industry level professionals in directing, acting and screenwriting. Among those include Susan Shilliday (Screenwriter- Legends of The Fall) Gabriel McKinley–Playright (EXTINCTION), Paul Calderon- (Actor/Playwright)-Boardwalk Empire, Pulp Fiction, Bosch)
Among many directing credits, he has directed over 30 web commercials, and has directed episodes for three webseries including the first season of the webseries SHAW now streaming on youtube- which won BEST WEBSERIES at the Astoria Film Festival and ‘What Do You Bring To The Table’ a comedy South Asian Platform talk show hosted by Comedian Rajiv Satyal, featuring interviews with guests such as Hasan Minhaj and Deepak Chopra, Lilly Singh, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Comedian Zarna Garg.
He is currently working on a documentary about artists with autism.
A Creative Storyteller at Heart. Kerey loves to craft innovative and engaging content that explores issues of both cultural diversity and neurodiversity. He loves to bring those themes into other genres such as sci-fi, fantasy, and comedy.
In his spare time he loves to draw, paint, read books, hang out with friends and travel!
