Patrick Lazzara is a writer-director- actor born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Las Vegas, NV.
He is the writer-director and co-star of the short film thriller “Restless”. Growing up playing
sports, his true love has always been movies. After receiving a copy of Leonard Maltin’s Movie
Guide, he set out on a quest to see all notable and interesting movies. At his local video store, he
became the top renter. He attended the Community College of Southern Nevada and the
University of Nevada Las Vegas taking theater, film, and screenwriting courses. He honed his
craft making short films. As an actor he attended the Joseph Bernard Acting Studio appearing in
One Act and full-length plays. In 2003, he moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his career as a
filmmaker and actor. In 2009, he wrote and directed the award-winning short film “The Astray”.
He wrote the screenplay to the Producer’s Guild Association’s Make Your Mark Film Festival
award winning short film “Loose Ends”. He is the writer, director, and star of his first feature
film “Burn”, which was picked for distribution and is available on Amazon Prime, iTunes,
Google Play, Red Box and Tubi.
