Wake Up Hollywood – January 31, 2023

Accomplished Singer/Songwriter Gedina has courageously forged her path as not only a successful music artist, but also as an
entrepreneur and CEO, and a fierce advocate for advancement for emerging independent performers. Each of Gedina’s
endeavors is proof of all the wild magic that comes from living with utter boldness and crystal-clear intention, including her new
album, “Out of My Shell,” releasing in March 2021.

In anticipation of her sophomore album release, Gedina is set to premiere her upcoming single, “North Star,” the follow-up to
her recent power anthems, “Messy” and “Transformer.” With her magnetic brand of “mermaid-pop,” a sound shaped by her
lifelong status as a salty-haired surfer girl, this new single continues in the vein of her larger work in an untapped genre of music
that empowers and elevates while leaving a life-changing impact for each and every listener: “affirmation pop.” “North Star”
provides a grounding cinematic ASMR-esque guided meditation to take all mermaids into the midnight sky: a finding of vision,
purpose and breath, all baked into a two-minute, inspiring meditation. The song invites people to find their own “North Star”

to follow within their lives, and not let anything get in the way of reaching one’s life’s purpose or destiny. Written and co-
produced by Gedina alongside Drew Kapner (who’s engineered records for artists including Jason Derulo and Twenty One Pilots),

Gedina’s dynamic and compelling sound carries notes of pop and dance blended with her powerhouse vocals, apparent
throughout the inspiring and uplifting single. “North Star” will be available to stream internationally across music DSPs in
February 2021 and serves as the third attraction of “Out of My Shell.”

As a completely independent artist and visionary, Gedina is determined to shake up the music-industry culture and carve out a
space for artists to fully express themselves while making a positive impact. In her efforts to blaze a new trail, Gedina recently
launched her own company, “4th Door Records, Inc.,” a transformational venture record label that is paving the way for emerging
artists in the industry to explore career strategy in a viable way. She’s been in the music industry for a long time and she saw a
formula of building artists that she didn’t agree with– where the labels dictate how artists create, what they look like, and what
music they put out. Thus, 4th Door was born with the intention of empowering transformational artists to tap into music,
mindset, value and own their entrepreneurial journeys to make the positive influence that they desire. In summary, 4th Door
Records is building brands and allowing for entrepreneurial musicians to carve out their space and place by selling their products
the way they’ve always envisioned, giving them the tools through marketing support, branding consultations, support systems
via product management, finance, investor education, and more. Gedina is filling a void in the music industry as a powerhouse
CEO with kindness as an action word; she is a mindset coach who lets her family, friends, artists, and fans know they are safe
no matter what, while simultaneously pushing them to be their best selves and tapping into inner dialogue, powerful spoken
word, and affirmations. Through discovering, developing, and delivering the next generation of transformational artists, 4th
Door Records is creating a world where the universal language, music, empowers the listener to author and own their lives
through vulnerability, accountability, connection, and passion.

On Gedina’s 2018 debut album, “Tell’em,” she introduced the world to the raw passion and uncompromising honesty essential
to her mission as an artist: instilling women with the courage needed to rewrite their own stories, and to build a more beautiful
reality for themselves. Gedina has gone through her life learning along the way, experiencing hardship and trauma, excitement
and let downs, peaks and valleys, and has channeled her struggles into raw and relatable lyrics and affirmative, encouraging
and inspirational ballads. Through the lyrics of the 12-song album, Gedina strives to help and inspire women find their voice,
stay in their power, and dismantle all things that no longer serve them.

Raised by a single father in Santa Cruz, CA, Gedina, discovered her love of singing as a little girl, thanks largely to “The Little
Mermaid” soundtrack and to the golden-voiced icons she finds infinitely formative, such as Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera,
Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. After graduating from high school at age 15, while spending her early teen years busking
and singing in local clubs, Gedina enrolled at UC Irvine and continue to gig in nearby blues bars. Shortly following her college
graduation, Gedina made the move out to LA to navigate the music industry and soon landed a blind audition on season three
of NBC’s Emmy-award winning musical competition series, “The Voice.” That same year, Gedina released her debut single
“Shame,” revealing the depth of her warm authenticity and spirited songwriting. By 2015, she scored an international hit with
“First Time, First Love,” a track that has now amassed over 2.2 million streams on Spotify.

When not recording new music in the studio or overseeing her company, Gedina loves to surf and enjoy California’s coastal
beaches, travel the world, as well as train and teach martial arts.
