Based in Los Angeles, CA, Jay Denton is a songwriter/producer/artist and the founder of
ENDURE Studios. Blending genres and styles, and bringing his multi-instrumentalism to every
track, Denton builds music from the ground up and is involved in every element from the
inception of the songs and the production, to the mix/mastering process.
Originally from Dallas, TX, Jay moved to LA for an international relations degree at the
University of Southern California, and worked internationally before beginning his music career
as a songwriter in Nashville, TN. With his side job as a Krav Maga instructor and fight trainer,
Denton ironically started working in the industry as a touring fight trainer for The Band Perry and
others before his own music started gaining traction.
Moving back to Los Angeles, Denton put out his full debut album, "Locked", which garnered
placements in shows ranging from The Bachelor and Temptation Island, to The Olympics, ESPN,
and more, and prompted him to start his own studio, ENDURE Studios.
In 2019 Denton traveled to Beirut, Lebanon, and wrote/produced the ENDURE album, "For
Home" with Syrian refugees – featuring US artists alongside them. That album was featured by
The United Nations (UNHCR), American Songwriter Magazine, Shine On Hollywood Magazine,
and Daily News Egypt, and others.
Now looking to expand back to Nashville as well, Denton is building out ENDURE Nashville
alongside his studio in Los Angeles, and building teams of artists, songwriters, and producers in
both music epicenters to fuel both the work the studio does domestically and overseas in conflict
zones.
Denton's vision is to bring artists together from all over the world, and use music as a bridge to
connect cultures, styles, and stories in ways rarely seen before. Currently back and forth between
LA and Nashville, Denton is working on a wide array of projects with artists in both cities,
alongside his own project, and is planning the next ENDURE global, collaborative album.
