Episode #155 – AWARD WINNING WESTERN STORIES
October kicks off with three guests. Award-winning authors ROD MILLER
and MICHAEL NORMAN join True West Magazine Film Editor HENRY C. PARKE.
Henry presents his monthly news report on current Western films and TV
shows. Co-authored by Rod Miller and Michael Norman, they talk about
their newly released collection of short stories, SHINY SPURS AND GOLD
MEDALLIONS. Many of the stories are award winners or finalists for
those honors, or recipients of other noteworthy recognition. There are
Spur Awards from Western Writers of America, Medallions from the Will
Rogers Medallion Awards, Peacemakers from Western Fictioneers, and
other honors some of their stories have been fortunate enough to
receive. They collected those award winners and finalists, wrote some
new stories, and put them together in this two-author collection.
