Episode #9 – Our Featured Guest is award winning Oregon Cowboy Poet Tom Swearingen. Through his original cowboy poetry, Tom tells stories of the people and land of the American West. Named the “2019 International Western Music Association Male Poet of the Year,” Tom’s book “Reflection,” also an award winner, was named the 2020 IWMA “Cowboy Poetry Book of the Year.” Tom and his wife, children’s book author Carla Swearingen, can often be found riding their horses in Oregon’s backcountry.
