Vyjayanthi Neha Vadrevu is a screenwriter, actress, anthropologist, and former adjunct professor of
Applied Anthropology and Autoethnography at the City University of New York, and founder of
www.rasa.nyc. Her foundation for all arts and social sciences began with her training in Indian
classical dance since her childhood. She studied dramatic and comedic acting and writing
techniques, most recently at School of Visual Arts, UCB, and People’s Improv Theater in New
York, and Writing Pad, The Berg Studios, and Westside Comedy Theater Improv in Los
Angeles. She has been writing fodder for screenplays to reconcile the “third culture kid”
experiences as a child of South Indian immigrants who settled in Chicago.
