Anjali is originally from Cambridge, MA, where she lived until completing her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Harvard University. Starting from a young age, she trained in Indian and Western dance forms and by her college years, was an experienced choreographer and even had begun her own dance company. After college, she moved to Mumbai, India, where she worked with healthcare non-profit organizations while also laying the foundations for a start in a career in entertainment – as an actor, dancer, and voice artist. She returned to NYC to complete her Master of Public Administration before resuming her professional journey in entertainment in Mumbai. A newcomer to both Maximum city and its industry, she landed over 50 commercials, acted in various theatrical productions, performed in improv comedy shows, various web series, commercial and independent feature films, and Amazon’s first original TV show, ‘Inside Edge’. She also choreographed and/or danced in a range of music videos and live shows. Anjali’s voice can be heard across Travel XP’s world travel shows, numerous commercials and corporate/radio ads, the characters of multiple animated feature films, and as the channel voice of Disney International India, on which she remained a presence until moving back to the US in 2018. Since her return to the US, she has acted in a range of projects, including at least 50 more commercials, the lead role in the 2022 Christmas release of ‘The Snowball Effect’, a co-star role in the TV series ‘Kevin Can F**k Himself’, and the lead in a series of upcoming short films in both Hindi and English. Her short film, “Your Love,” just started on the current festival circuit and has already won its first award at the Global Music Awards.
