Mike Daley is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, originally hailing from downtown Chicago. Known for his work with some of the biggest names in Pop, Urban, and K-Pop music, Mike’s credits include collaborations with Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, ENHYPEN, Stray Kids, aespa, NCT, and many more.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2007, Mike graduated from the Los Angeles Recording School and began his career interning at The Underdogs music studio. Quickly working his way up the ranks, he gained experience as an assistant engineer, mixing assistant, and later as studio manager, even taking on A&R responsibilities. This diverse background eventually led to Mike being signed as a music producer by Harvey Mason Jr.
Mike officially launched his producing career in 2012 with “Free Run” on Chris Brown’s Grammy-nominated and platinum-certified album Fortune. The following year, he made waves with Tamar Braxton’s single “All The Way Home” and earned two additional Grammy nominations for Tamar’s Love and War and TGT’s 3 Kings albums.
In the years since, Mike has achieved commercial success both domestically and internationally, becoming a key figure in the K-Pop industry. His production credits include Girls’ Generation’s #1 hit “Mr. Mr.,” NCT 127’s “Regular,” and Stray Kids’ “Easy.” Beyond K-Pop, Mike executive produced Rockie Fresh’s debut album The Night I Went To…, featuring Ed Sheeran, Chris Brown, and Rick Ross, and produced Rockie’s debut single, “Call Me When It’s Over,” featuring Chris Brown.
2024 has been a career-defining year for Mike, as he contributed to four albums that each sold over 1 million copies in their first week: aespa’s Armageddon, NCT 127’s Walk, ENHYPEN’s ROMANCE : UNTOLD, and ENHYPEN’s repackage album ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-.
For over a decade, Mike has been traveling to Seoul, collaborating with top artists as K-Pop has become a global phenomenon. He has firmly established himself as a staple in the genre, consistently bringing his signature sound and expertise to every project.
