Based in Los Angeles but Chicago born and raised, Ashlee has been singing since she was a little girl; learning from idols such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera. In her early performance days, she held several 1st place titles in singing competitions around the Chicago area and has opened up for Jennifer Hudson, as well as shared stages around the mid-west with several YouTube stars of the mid 2000’s including Jeremy Passion, Gabe Bondoc, and AJ Rafael. In 2010, she began to collaborate with guitarist Alan Tiongson to write and perform at shows throughout Chicago, including 103.5 KissFM’s “Stuff-a-Bus” clothing and food drive, as well as a residency at e+o Restaurant’s “Acoustic Summer Series”. They were also proud finalists of Kollaboration Chicago 2013 where they had the opportunity to perform on the CBS Morning Show. In 2016, Ashlee released her first EP titled “When It Was You & Me” featuring tracks written with Alan, as well as early songs written while away at school.
