Award winning poet, author, journalist, columnist, and ranch chef DEANNA DICKINSON MCCALL joined hosts Jim and Bobbi Jean Bell. We talked about ranching, writing, creative partnerships, and the recipe for a great cookbook. She recited three poems from her poetry book “Split Reins” with illustrations by JaNeil Anderson. Along the way, Deanna shared writing tips and the benefits of belonging to a writing group like Western Writers of America (WWA).
