Jim read the newest title, “Blooming Orchid” and I read her first book of the 3 part series “Goodbye, Orchid.” We talked of the lives (and decisions) of main characters – Phoenix and Orchid, the rich cast of characters surrounding them, the challenges of writing a series and the books’ award-winning designs.
