Performing in a range of different roles, from musician, to comedienne, to actress, Hayley Goldstein has been consistently performing live throughout the West Coast and in several feature films since earning her degree from SFSU in theater. In 2017, she produced, wrote, directed, and starred in her breakout hit "ONE WOMAN SHOW(with a couple other people)." It's blend of sketch comedy and original music was complimented by the inclusion of a full band. 

Her most recent project #TogetherCampaign she requested and collected clips from people from the past year that illustrates togetherness. She then compiled all the footage and made a music video for her song "Together", which you can find on YouTube. You can look forward to and experience a world, a platform she has created just for that called, 'ShineSeeker'.

Today Ilona Europa will be talking about Beata Halicka's: Borderlands Biography. Z. Anthony Kruszewski in wartime Europe and postwar America. Beata Halicka is a Professor of Contemporary History at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). She lectured at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, between 2006 and 2014, and was a Visiting Professor at the universities in Calgary (2014), Chicago (2015) and in El Paso (2016). Her research interests include nationalism, forced migrations, constructions of identities in border regions, collective memory, German-Polish relations, and Polish diaspora in the world. www.beatahalicka.pl/home

Prof. Zbigniew. Anthony Kruszewski Z. Anthony Kruszewski was first a Polish scout fighting in World War II against the Nazi occupiers, then a Prisoner of War/Displaced Person in Western Europe. He was stranded as a penniless immigrant in post-war America and eventually became a world-renowned academic.

Kruszewski walks a stage very few people have even stood on, both as an eye- witness at the centre of the Second World War, and later as vice-president of the Polish American Congress, and a professor and political scientist at world-class universities in the USA. Not only did he become a pioneer and a leading figure in Borderland Studies, but he is a borderlander in every sense of the word.

While Ryan’s interest in film began with taking pictures on a disposable camera as a child and making YouTube videos in high school, it has grown into a lifelong passion. Before medical school, Ryan worked briefly at a production company and began freelance acting during his gap year after completing his BS in Neuroscience at the University of Southern California. A musician and writer himself, Ryan has always been deeply interested in the arts

and medicine.
