Tarsha Tee Rodgers
Tarsha Tee Rodgers, a native Angelino has always had a love and appreciation for music and public speaking which began at an early age.
Tarsha has performed at some of the top clubs in Hollywood including the Whiskey a go-go and the House of Blues where she was a regular in the Martini Jazz Show. A new member to Stevie Wonder owned KJLH FM-102.3’s performance choir, Tarsha Rodgers is no stranger to the music industry. She has opened for three-time GRAMMY nominee El Debarge and GRAMMY Award-winning R&B/ Soul singer-songwriter Chrisette Michele at the Key Club and has performed with Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, Kelly Price at the Savoy for the “For the Love of R&B” show. Tarsha also performed a moving rendition of the National Anthem at the Bill Picket Rodeo as well as a LA Chargers football game. Her song Lovers Paradise was nominated for a Hollywood Music and Media Award for best RnB song. She also sang background for Stevie Wonder in his “Songs in the Key of Life” Benefit Concert. She was a back to back 2 year National Anthem Performer of the Los Angeles Chargers Crucial Catch Game at the request of the owner and she has performed her song Still I Rise for the Sparks Half-time game.
She released her debut album, “Still I Rise” in 2014. She wrote all of the songs on the album and the title song is reflective of her battle with Breast Cancer; a battle she is winning.
Tarsha also produces and performs in her annual Sold Out show “A night of RnB-Secure the tatas, Save the Crown” that honors fellow Breast Cancer Survivors as well as good R&B music. She is the CEO of Still I Rise From Cancer, Inc., which helps Cancer patients save their hair.
Tarsha has always had the gift of gab and is a prolific public speaker. She studied broadcasting and has always had an interest in hosting her own talk show. Her goal is to reach many people with various hot topics and to also bring awareness to Breast Cancer and other health issues. Keeping in line with her Still I Rise theme, she is producer and host of her own radio show, The Still I Rise Tee Party on LA Talk Radio.
