DUANE JOURNEY

Duane Journey

Duane Journey has been hanging around the film/television industry for over twenty five years.  In that time he has done everything from Casting Assistant to Executive in Charge of Production. Duane learned about film making from the inside out on such Hollywood “mega-hits” as LOBSTER MAN FROM MARS, ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOS and WAXWORK to some more obscure television titles such as ALIAS, FELICITY, SIENFIELD, and MAD ABOUT YOU.  There was also a cult fave that some of you might have heard of MEN IN BLACK.

But seriously, he has worked on over 85 productions, including studio features, indies, sitcoms, episodic series, commercials and music videos.  All this time on set  as a Gaffer, Dolly Grip, Key Grip, Production Manager, First AD, Line Producer and Producer gives him a great knowledge and appreciation for the real magic behind Hollywood.

Duane loves the “behind-the-scenes” and wants to share his many experiences and “working Hollywood” friends with everyone who is interested film and video production.

  DAVID TILLMAN
Dave Tillman

David Tillman’s background is in legitimate theatre where he spent 10 years producing, acting, directing for over 80 productions in Kentucky, Minnesota, West Virginia and North Carolina and California.  He was the Producing Director at New Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, Associate Artistic Director at the Actors Guild of Lexington, and Artistic Director of the Woodford County Dinner Theatre in Kentucky.

David gave up the theatre to pursue being in the film/television business where he started off as a Page at Paramount Studios which inspired him to pursue screenwriting.   Several great screenwriting books and a few courses at UCLA Extension later, David was hired as the VP of Development for Velvet Steamroller where he learned about the inner workings of a film production company.
